/kənˈvēn/   verb

come or bring together for a meeting or activity; assemble.

JOIN US!

This is an opportunity to come together from across the state and energize one another, while learning and sharing.

We will focus on “Sharing Our Stories”, learning more about the impact of what we say, how we say it, and to whom, to be as successful as possible in all our creative endeavors. Often we don’t communicate our work with pride well to others. The convening is presented in partnership with Humanities North Dakota.

Our 1st plenary speaker, on Tuesday, March 19, is Thaler Pekar, a pioneer in the field of narrative, story, and persuasive communication. She and her team at Thaler Pekar & Partners work around the world and across sectors, guiding leaders and institutions on being heard, understood, and influential.

On Wednesday, March 20, meet our 2nd plenary speaker, Kelly Barsdate, a cultural advocate from the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies, NDCA's most excellent service organization. Kelly's session will focus on advocacy, helping us to harness the power of our voices to grow resources and recognition for the arts in North Dakota.

Convening presenter information is available via this link

Online registration is available until March 15, 2019.
Onsite registration will also be available; early registration is appreciated for catering purposes.
